Tottenham have made a late change to their team to face Portsmouth in the FA Cup third round with Yves Bissouma dropping out of the starting XI. Following his absence in midweek against Crystal Palace due to suspension, the Mali international had been recalled to the side and was set to partner Pape Matar Sarr in midfield.
However, ten minutes before the 12.30pm kick-off Tottenham confirmed that Bissouma was no longer in the side and he had been replaced by Oliver Skipp. football.london understands that the reason for his absence is down to a knock he sustained in the warm-up.
It means Conte and Spurs go with a young midfield pairing of Skipp and Sarr as the head coach elected against bringing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg into the side. Academy ace Romaine Mundle has come into the squad in place of Bissouma as a result, joining fellow youngster Alfie Devine on the substitutes' bench.

Following the midweek win over Palace, Conte had made a total of eight changes to his team before having to recall Skipp as players such as Japhet Tanganga, Davinson Sanchez and Emerson Royal came into the side. Eric Dier and Ivan Perisic, who were both in the team at Selhurst Park on Wednesday evening, missed out completely as they were not included in the matchday squad.
