It’s no secret that the Tennessee Titans desperately need an influx of talent on offense before next season. The offensive line and wide receiver positions, in particular, need to be completely overhauled this offseason.
Over the coming months, many expect the Titans to fill both position groups with veteran and youthful talent, whether that be through free agency, trades, and/or the 2023 NFL draft.
Fortunately for Tennessee, it seems like things are trending toward the team being able to possibly land one of the better prospects in this year’s draft at their two biggest positions of need.
Dane Brugler of The Athletic reports teams around the NFL think the value at the wide receiver position will come on Day 2 of the draft. Brugler also feels there’s only one receiver who has a chance to be drafted in the top 20.

If that’s the case, the Titans should be able to focus on trying to land the best offensive lineman available in Round 1, and then take their chances that one of the top-five receivers are still there when they pick in Round 2 (No. 41 overall).
However, with all that said, keep in mind that it’s still way too early in the process to know how high anyone will go outside of the obvious blue-chip prospects.
We haven’t even reached the NFL Combine yet, and that’s where a lot of prospects tend to increase or decrease their overall stock depending on how the individual workouts pan out.
Nonetheless, if things continue to trend in this direction, it will undoubtedly be an ideal scenario for an offense that could use all the help it can get.
