Why TikTok users are obsessed with 365 DNI's Michele Morrone

The collective thirst of the socially distanced world has resulted in the wild success of the absolutely bonkers film 365 DNI, or 365 Days, which has become the top watched movie on Netflix in the United States and a TikTok superstar.

Say goodbye to Connell's chain, because there's a brand spanking new TikTok obsession - 365 DNI's Don Massimo Torricell, played by actor Michele Morrone.

If you haven't watched the film yet, think 50 Shades of Grey, only Polish, with purple mood lighting and scenes that would make even Christian Grey blush.

In 365 Days, Massimo kidnaps Laura, a Polish woman he has been in love with for years after seeing her once, and then gives her 365 days to fall in love with him - which if you look at him, you know (spoiler alert) will happen.

Hijinks ensue, including Stockholm Syndrome, a fall off a boat that will have you cackling and Massimo constantly asking, "Are you lost baby girl?" in his thick Italian accent, which has become a TikTok favorite.

The film was so raunchy that many people thought the sex was real. However, Morrone himself recently debunked this theory: "It seems like real because we're good actors, we know how to fake it."

In real life, Morrone is a 29-year-old Italian divorced dad with two sons, a singer (he has not one but two songs on the soundtrack), and the subject of TikTok's obsession, with more than 500 million views of the #365Days hashtag.

Below, we've compiled some of the best TikTok reactions to the literally jaw-dropping movie.

Our all-time favorite is this dad who showed why it can sometimes be uncomfortable to share a Netflix account with your family.

Luckily, commenters weighed in and explained it's possible to delete your watch history.

Another solid reaction comes courtesy of this dog, who probably did not volunteer to play baby girl Laura.

One TikTok user explained that Massimo provided the ultimate competition, telling his followers, "If you are talking to a girl and she has watched this movie, run. You cannot compete, I promise you," and he's not wrong.

Some of the best content comes from the man himself.

A few ladies are showing their appreciation for the kidnapping scene.

Some TikTokkers are planning their first vacation when lockdown ends after being inspired by the film. And yes, they're heading straight to Italy.

One lady went looking for a yacht.

Another booked a ticket to Sicily.

In conclusion, Christian Grey who?
