The Premier League now has a winter break, which has been a feature of recent years and will come as a surprise to fans expecting to be able to watch their team in action this weekend.
The break was brought in to give players a chance to refresh their legs after half a season of intense Premier League football with even delayed games not being played to give players a break.
That means there is no Premier League fixture list this weekend, with teams and players given time off.
The winter break covers the period between January 24 - February 8, with the Premier League’s next full round of fixtures taking place between February 8-10.
There is one exception with Burnley hosting Watford on Saturday, February 5 with the game having been postponed on two occasions already.
Fans can still get their football fix on TV this weekend, however. The EFL will be played in full and there is no shortage of action in the football world with plenty of action taking place around the globe.
