Why The Pat McAfee Show isn’t on ESPN on Wednesday, January 11 2024

First off, no: ESPN didn’t cancel The Pat McAfee Show (although the Worldwide Leader has a mess on its hands, as we’ve written lately).

If you’re here, you may be flipping on ESPN and seeing Bill Belichick or New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft talking instead of McAfee. Why is that? What happened to McAfee?

Per the New York Post’s Andrew Marchand: With Belichick out as head coach of the Pats and the NFL franchise holding a press conference at 12 p.m. Eastern to say goodbye to the legend, ESPN will have SportsCenter on instead to cover that.

There’s your answer!

With the Bill Belichick news, ESPN will have SportsCenter on from 12-2 instead of The Pat McAfee Show.
