Why the Boston Celtics should fear no team heading into the 2022 NBA Playoffs

Should the Boston Celtics have taken the easier path to the 2022 NBA Finals, or does it make sense to potentially take on not only the Brooklyn Nets in the first round, but also to have a chance of facing the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks in the East Semis and the Miami Heat in the 2022 Eastern Conference Finals?

While there is a healthy amount of concern regarding facing each of those teams, there have been a few notable cases of those who believe a direct path makes the most sense for the Celtics, citing everything from vibes to relative readiness of opponents to the basketball gods themselves.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “Celtics Beat” podcast Evan Valenti and Chris Forsberg were recently joined by guest Chris Forsberg of NBC Boston Sports to talk all things Celtics and the first round of the 2022 NBA Playoffs, and Valenti in particular had strong feelings on whether the team ought to be afraid of the Nets.
