Why Oleksandr Zinchenko and Thomas Partey are out of Arsenal vs Fulham in Premier League

Arsenal will be without two key players in their Saturday night Premier League fixture against Fulham with Oleksandr Zinchenko and Thomas Partey sidelined.

The two have made impressive starts to the season, with Zinchenko joining from Manchester City and Partey continuing his fine form from last season.

But both have been ruled of today's match after they picked up knocks in Friday's training session.

football.london 's Arsenal reporter Kaya Kaynak tells us that Zinchenko suffered a slight sprain to left knee from Friday afternoon training session. He has been left out of today’s squad as a precaution and will continue to be assessed.

Partey, meanwhile, has a tight right thigh from Friday afternoon training session - he will also continue to be assessed ahead of next week.

Meanwhile, Kieran Tierney returns to the starting line-up in place of Zinchenko, with Mohamed Elneny starting in place of Partey.
