Nottingham Forest will host Fulham on Friday night, after the Premier League announced the match will be going ahead as planned.
The Reds will take to the City Ground pitch eager to end a run of three straight defeats, having suffered a second half collapse which saw them lose 3-2 to Bournemouth last time out. Prior to taking on the Cherries, they had been beaten by Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City.
Forest’s meeting with the Cottagers had originally been scheduled for Saturday, September 17, when the fixtures were released in June. Usually, any changes made are as a result of selection for live TV broadcast - but not in this instance.

The Reds’ game against Fulham (8pm kick-off) is not due to be shown on Sky Sports. It was moved to Friday night to avoid a clash with Trent Bridge’s hosting of cricket’s One-Day Cup on Saturday.
It will be the final run-out for Steve Cooper’s side before the international break. After a two-week hiatus, they will then return to action with a trip to Leicester City on Monday, October 3.
Forest had been due to take on Leeds United on Monday night, but that match - along with the rest of the weekend’s fixtures - was postponed, following the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
After a decision had been made over the Fulham game, a statement from the club said: “The Premier League has confirmed that our fixture on Friday night against Fulham at the City Ground will go ahead as planned. All Premier League fixtures, including our match against Leeds United, were postponed last weekend as a mark of respect following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Tributes will be paid to The Queen at all matches being played during the period of National Mourning.”
