Manager Erik ten Hag has hailed the impact that his summer signings have had at Manchester United, pointing towards the positive team spirit that is currently flowing through the squad.
United, following a disastrous campaign last season, recruited six new faces during the summer, spending a record-breaking £225.4million. Their recruitment drive featured the big-money signings of Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro and Antony, all of whom have enjoyed good starts to their Old Trafford careers.
Martinez, poached from Ten Hag's former club, Ajax, has gone from strength-to-strength in recent weeks, quickly cementing himself as a firm fans' favourite. Casemiro, too, has also shown why United were right to sign him, filling a gaping hole in midfield that had been exposed for far too long.

The Brazilian, who scored his first goal for the club in the 1-1 draw with Chelsea a fortnight ago, recently scooped the club's Player of the Month award for October, pipping Martinez to the gong. With those two having contested the award, it has been clear that Ten Hag's new additions have had just the impact they would have wanted to.
And for the Dutchman, United struck the perfect blend, recruiting the right kind of players to work in tandem with those that were already at the club when he succeeded Ralf Rangnick back in May.
"I think the signings thank the squad, the right players with the right players who were already there and, together, they are forming a team and the team spirit is good, it's high," Ten Hag told United's club website.
"So also to keep that going, keep constructing that, keep building that, and bring even more passion and desire in because we want to win something."
