Bodyguard star Keeley Hawes and her husband Matthew Macfadyen have turned their backs on moving to Tinseltown to further their careers.
Matthew, 44, spends most of his time in America filming HBO show Succession, returning when he can to see his family.
And Keeley, 43, is in demand Stateside after her BBC hit took the US by storm.
But despite rumours they would relocate to Hollywood, Keeley and their kids - Maggie, 14, and Ralph 12 - are staying put.
“It didn’t seem like somewhere we wanted to live," Keeley explained.
"The family came to visit him, but the novelty had worn off.”
Matthew admitted being apart from his family for months on end was “tough”.
He said: “I’ve found it quite tough, this time, being away.
“Partly because I haven’t gotten back as much as I did last time, but also I’ve done all the walks — I don’t need to buy any more jeans.
"And if I have more than three of four days off and I can’t get back, I miss the kids.”
Keeley plays a villain in her latest TV role on Channel 4's comedy show Year Of The Rabbit .
