An insider has shared the alleged reason why Justin Baldoni is suing Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds for the whopping sum of $400 million over the It Ends With Us drama.
The sneaky source told Daily Mail that the large number is believed to be close to the combined net worth of both stars and that he allegedly wants to bankrupt them. Yikes…
So how much is ol’ Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds worth, I hear you ask?
Combined, they have a net worth of $380 million, which is mostly due to his v. successful off-screen gigs including his gin brand Aviation, Mint Mobile, and FuboTV.

In 2020, the actor sold his stake in Aviation to Diageo, which, by the way, is one of the world’s largest producers of spirits and beers, in a deal worth up to $610 million.
That same year, he bought the Wrexham Football Club — alongside Always Sunny in Philadelphia actor Rob McElhenney — for $2.5 million.
Not to mention the fact that Reynolds is one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood.
The insider went on to say that Baldoni has already lost thousands of dollarydoos since being dropped by his agent, and that if the couple win in the lawsuit, he could be left broke.
“Justin Baldoni chose $400 million because of the simple reason that Blake and Ryan’s combined net worth is believed to be around that figure,” the source said.
“If they were successful in their pursuits, Justin would have lost everything he has and everything he has ever worked for.
“He has already lost jobs including the podcast and he was dropped by his agent. Prior to this he was flourishing.”
They continued: “People close to Justin believe Blake and Ryan deserve to be bankrupted for trying to ruin the lives of Justin and others involved in this legal nightmare.”
Baldoni — who directed and starred in the film — has accused the celebrity power couple of hijacking the filming of It Ends With Us. He also claimed Lively forced Baldoni and his family to wait in the basement during the film’s premiere as she did not want to see him.
A trial date has been set for March 9, 2026, but I’m sure more and more bizarre stories are going to come out before then, like this one about a Gossip Girl star claiming Blake Lively would fart on set. Yep, we’re well and truly in the gutter now…
