If you’re watching any of the NFL games on CBS on Sunday in Week 13, you may notice an absence: There’s no Jim Nantz or Tony Romo on the mics anywhere for the network.
Why is that the case?
There’s a very good reason: Nantz and Romo were on for the the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving game against the Washington Commanders, and they then called the thrilling Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills contest just days later.
So the top CBS broadcast team gets a week off, as you can see from the network’s broadcaster schedule for their slate this Sunday.
There’s your answer!
