The eyes of the technology world were on Barcelona this week as Mobile World Congress 2024 took place, showcasing new releases, services and keynote speeches from many of the world's top technology firms.

The flagship Huawei Mate 60 Series have won multiple awards across the globe, recognised for their stunning visuals and design, but have also been celebrated for the ability to support satellite calls, even when no terrestrial networks are available - a lifeline for customers everywhere.

Another stylistic icon is the foldable Huawei Mate X5, with its super light and slim quad-curve design setting a new high bar for smartphones, and its mix of AI algorithms and innovative antenna technology meaning consumers are always able to stay connected.

This success has been shown by Huawei wearable devices gaining six medical certificates in the Chinese mainland and medical device certificates in 12 other countries or regions, highlighting the valuable role Huawei technology can play in user wellness. Its devices offer a number of innovative features geared towards health benefits, such as the health glance feature in the HUAWEI WATCH 4, or the scientific workout coach in the HUAWEI WATCH GT 4 that offers tools such as heartrate tracking and sleep monitoring functions.

At work, Huawei has also looked to help support those with needs for efficiency and flexibility when it comes to computing devices with its comprehensive tablet range. The company has also shipped over 100 million Huawei tablets in the decade since the launch of its first tablet, and is well set to boost these even further in 2024.

To help boost productivity, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 13.2" brings PC-grade applications and programs on the move with a brighter and more detailed screen than ever, and the HUAWEI MatePad Pro offers Multi-Screen Collaboration to help take work efficiency even higher. For creatives, the PaperMatte Display, only found on Huawei tablets, provides paper-like viewing, with minimal glare and eye strain, which, when coupled with the 3rd-generation HUAWEI M-Pencil (the first tablet stylus to support 10,000+ pressure sensing levels) makes digital creation such as drawing and writing seamless.

All these launches pay testament to Huawei's strong performance in 2023 across multiple markets, as it shipped 10.4 million smartphones in the Chinese market alone in Q4 2023, an increase in shipments and market share. The company also saw a strong rise in smartwatch and other wearable shipments, with its Huawei Health app boasting a user base of over 450 million, and more than 100 million monthly active users worldwide.
