Tottenham are currently preparing to get their season back underway, with their Premier League season resuming with a fixture against Brentford on Boxing Day.
Antonio Conte is currently putting his team through its paces at Hotspur Way, with Harry Kane having been given the week off following England's exit from the World Cup on Saturday night. Meanwhile, Cristian Romero and his Argentina teammates remain in Qatar as they prepare for Sunday's final.
Romero was part of the Argentina side which beat Croatia on Tuesday night, with Ivan Perisic unable to prevent a Messi masterclass which saw the two-times winners through to the final. Perisic, however, will remain at the tournament for four more days, with the third place play-off still to play on Saturday.

This is still a part of World Cup tradition, with other tournaments such as the European Championships not playing such a fixture. However, with a bronze medal on offer for the winner, Perisic and his Croatia teammates will still be up for the challenge of adding to the second place they obtained after losing the final to France in 2018.
Following this, he will be expected to be given some time off by Conte before returning to training with Spurs as they hope to continue their push for a place in the top four this season.
He will likely be joining up with the squad at the same time as Hugo Lloris, with the Spurs keeper expected to also be given some time off after France's participation in the tournament is over.
