Embassies have been eyeing up an expansive Forrest property after it came on the market in mid-October.
That is because the home at 15 Tasmania Circle has four bedrooms, each with their own en suite, and two kitchens.
It has four large lounge areas, each with ample room for hosting.
But this is not just a functional home - it is also one to impress.
A wide entryway with parquetry flooring gives way to light-filled, open living areas with north-facing windows.
The home was designed by Canberra-based architect Brian Foskett, who is known for bright interiors.
The dining area, for example, is set next to an indoor water area with moss, bonsai trees and rounded windows.
A stairway has glass balustrades, opening the space between the ground and first floor.
Set on a quarter of an acre, the yard has established gardens, a 15-metre lap pool and a large spa.
There is a tennis court on the property, with synthetic grass and competition markings.
Large, covered entertaining areas can be paired with the kitchens as a great place for hosting.
Selling agent Josh Morrissey, of Hive Property, said several embassies and international investors had enquired about the property with himself and co-agent Michael Morris since it hit the market.
He also said it could be enjoyed as a family home and was within the catchment for many of Canberra's most desirable schools.
The double kitchen and en suites made it a desirable property for live-in help or multi-generational living.
Mr Morrissey did not disclose a price guide for the property.
The most expensive Forrest property - a six-bedroom abode on Baudin Street, sold for $8.3 million in September 2023.
