Chelsea will host Real Madrid next Tuesday with a slim chance of progressing to the Champions League semi-final after falling to a 2-0 defeat at the Santiago Bernabeu in the first leg.
Goals either side of half-time from Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio put Los Blancos in good stead to secure a spot in the competition's semi-final - their 11th in the past 13 seasons. The Blues were dealt a further blow with Ben Chilwell receiving a straight red card for pulling back on Rodrygo.
Frank Lampard's men have it all to do in West London next Tuesday but will take optimism from the chances created in the early stages of the contest. They will, however, have to win by at least two goals if they are to have any chance of progressing.

In Madrid, Lampard made all five substitutions in an attempt to rescue a goal ahead of the second leg. However, Christian Pulisic was unused in the Spanish capital.
The USMNT ace was named on Lampard's bench after the Blues caretaker boss opted for Joao Felix and Raheem Sterling to lead the line. And despite Chelsea chasing the game for much of the evening, Pulisic was not utilised due to no fault of his own.
Following Chilwell's red card in the 59th minute, Lampard chose to introduce Trevoh Chalobah and Conor Gallagher to strengthen the defence. Kai Havertz and Mason Mount were also sent on in the Bernabeu with Pulisic one of seven unused substitutions.
