Why Charlotte Crosby split from I'm A Celeb love Ryan Gallagher amid fakery rumours

Charlotte Crosby has confirmed she split from her boyfriend Ryan Gallagher, who she met when they both took part in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! Australia.

The former Geordie Shore star, 29, confessed that she didn't want to get into another long term relationship, while there were also claims that they couldn't make it work because they're from opposite sides of the world.

It could have had something to do with I'm a Celeb viewers doubting their romance, with many accusing them of faking it for the cameras.

A source told Woman's Day that Ryan pursued her because he knew it would get them more airtime, saying: "Ryan loves the opportunities that come with his reality TV fame, so he wouldn't think twice about hooking up if it means he'll generate more headlines."

She also admitted that a serious romance was not really where she was at, for the time being anyway.

Charlotte continued: "I still wasn't looking for something serious, he's at a stage in his life where he is - so we came to a mutual decision that we'd just cool it off."

"We are still friends. I love that boy to bits, he's amazing.

"Like, my time in there would not have been the same without him. We had an amazing connection and we're all going to be meeting up, having a big reunion in Melbourne, so it's all fine."

The reality star is now looking to be single for the rest of the year, so that she can "fall in love with herself".

She added: "I just need to have that time on my own where I'm not worried about anyone else. I want to be really selfish for one year!"
