Why Celtics camp invitee Noah Vonleh should be the favorite to make Boston’s 2022-23 roster

With the Boston Globe’s Adam Himmelsbach reporting veteran big man and Haverhill native Noah Vonleh is the camp invitee “best positioned” to make the team’s 2022-23 regular-season roster, the question for some fans and analysts is if the Indiana alumnus is the right fit for the Celtics.

He has been the best of the Celtics’ unsigned camp invitees battling for the Celtics’ two remaining roster spots. On the other hand, there is an opportunity cost involved in Vonleh gaining the roster spot unless his deal contains guarantees he might not accept.

Host of the “How about them Celtics” podcast Jack Simone recently made his case on why Vonleh should indeed be in the lead to land a regular-season roster spot.

Take a look at the short embedded above to hear why he thinks this is the case.
