Why Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest is not live on TV in UK today

Arsenal are today looking to retake top spot in the Premier League back off Manchester United as they welcome Nottingham Forest to the Emirates Stadium, but UK football fans will not be able to watch along.

The Gunners host bottom-club Forest in north London looking for a ninth win on home soil on the spin, and maintain their perfect record along the way, but it’s been a frustrating week for Mikel Arteta & Co.

A disappointing draw at Southampton last weekend was followed by a dismal showing in Eindhoven in the Europa League as PSV ran out convincing winners.

It is because of that European tie on Thursday that Arsenal again find themselves playing on a Sunday, taking up the usual 2pm slot.

However, Sky Sports are instead showing the India vs South Africa clash in the 2022 T20 World Cup and further build-up to Manchester United hosting West Ham at 4.15pm.

Sky Sports had already planned to broadcast Liverpool vs Leeds in the 2pm Sunday slot before that match was brought forward to Saturday evening due to the Reds’ Champions League commitments.
