Why Arsenal vs Crystal Palace is not on TV as Premier League snub explained

Arsenal welcome Crystal Palace to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Mikel Arteta knows a win will send his side eight points clear at the top of the Premier League.

Palace make the short trip across the capital on the back of 12 games without a win and without Patrick Vieira. The ex-Arsenal captain was sacked following Wednesday's defeat to Brighton with Paddy McCarthy in charge for the weekend.

The fixture presents Arsenal with the chance to respond to their Europa League exit on Thursday and take another huge step towards a first league title in nearly 20 years. However, despite being the only Premier League fixture on the day, the contest will not be televised in England.

There are three FA Cup games scheduled to be played on the same day from 12pm until 4:30pm, with all three live across ITV and BBC Sport.

As far as coverage outside of the UK is concerned, beIN SPORTS has the rights for the action in the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey while Canal+ is showing the game in France, Poland and the Czech Republic.

Sky Sports will carry live coverage of the match for the German and Italian markets while V Sport and ViaPlay have the Scandinavian and Baltic regions covered. In the United States of America, USA Network is showing the game while FuboTV has the rights for Canada.

Although the game is not on TV in the UK, you can follow live coverage in our matchday blog right here.
