Tottenham Hotspur are looking to tie up both their search for a new head coach and director of football sooner rather than later.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is leading both of the hunts with a view to getting two like-minded candidates that can work together at the north London club and build a new era. Tottenham have been linked with a move for Arne Slot, who led Feyenoord to the Eredivisie title at the weekend, as well as other up and coming managers like Sporting boss Ruben Amorim, while Xabi Alonso pledged his immediate future to Bayer Leverkusen.
Levy's search for a new director of football has also taken him across the world as he seeks the right person to take over from Fabio Paratici, who resigned last month after failing in his appeal against his 30-month ban from the Italian football federation.

In the mean time, acting head coach Ryan Mason is trying to guide Tottenham to European football next season and to do so will likely need victories against both Brentford at home on Saturday and at Leeds next weekend.
