Manchester City were fans were, not for the first time this season, not best pleased with Sky Sports' coverage of the Premier League title race.
City fans have being saying for months that the broadcaster is favourable in its coverage of Liverpool, with claims of commentators lavishing praise on City's title rivals instead of the Blues and that City's transfer spending is criticised while Liverpool's is not.
During Sky's live coverage of Liverpool's win against Southampton on Tuesday evening, City were fans were further incensed. Just seconds after Martin Tyler and Jamie Carragher - both on commentary - had dismissed Pep Guardiola's recent claims that the media wants Liverpool to win the league, a graphic flashed up on screen.

The graphic, advertising Sky's coverage of the final day, showed an image of the Premier League trophy. Usually, the ribbons on the trophy are the colour of the reigning champions, but in this instance they were red.
Some also weren't happy with a poster Sky published earlier in the week, inviting fans to vote for who they think will win the title. The background fades from blue to red, although about two thirds of the image is red rather than sky blue.
This might have been an ill-timed editorial oversight by the production team, but plenty of Blues on Twitter have taken it as proof of media bias.
@170million: I’ve been saying this for years! They never change the ribbons when City wins it! Even in the Prem show opening. They show City for 2 secs lifting the trophy
@onlyonecolour: Leave the ribbons on until Sunday, let Pep remove them, throw them on the floor , then let Dias stamp on them in a symbolic gesture
@Hammadv5: Everyday Pep gets proven right.
@adam__mcfc26: Why are they like this?
@br_football: Red ribbons on the trophy looooool Liverpool might as well start their title parade now.
