THOSE who have used the London Underground or scrolled through social media in recent weeks may have noticed a poster campaign disparaging Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
This comes after the X (formerly known as Twitter) owner made what appeared to be a Nazi salute to supporters during Trump's inauguration in January, leaving many around the globe shocked.
As a result of this gesture and his close relationship with the American president, sales of Tesla cars have plummeted, seeing purchases fall by more than 70% in Germany.

According to CBC, the billionaire has lost $126 billion (around £97bn) of his personal wealth this year.
Recently, Musk lost $26bn dollars in a single day after shares in Tesla dipped by 15%, the worst since September 2020 when the firm saw a 21% drop.
Why are so many anti-Musk posters appearing all over London?
Poster campaigns heavily featuring stills of Elon Musk's salute encourages Londoners to delete their Twitter (X) accounts and mocks the billionaire's faltering car sales.
One poster, which shows the embattled billionaire's salute alongside a graph of declining Tesla sales, reads: “Hate doesn’t sell, just ask Tesla."
Another piece takes the form of a cologne advert and shows a similar still of Musk's salute next to a fake product called "Elon's Musk," alongside another line reading: "Parfum de 1939".
The Tube is not the only place in London where these posters are appearing with one fake Tesla advert titled "goes from 0-1939 in three seconds" being spotted at a bus stop.
One group, named Everyone Hates Elon, is fundraising to "hold Musk to account" through posters and billboards.
“All proceeds will go directly towards the costs of our campaigning,” the group said on its gofundme page.
A separate group, Overthrow Musk, has also been putting up posters in Tottenham, Walthamstow and St Albans.
