Whole Foods Employee Catches Customer Doing Something Truly Horrible on Camera

Shopping at Amazon-owned (AMZN) -) Whole Foods is considered by many to be a bourgeois experience. From the lack of typical grocery store brands to the prices, Whole Foods is obviously designed for a consumer that makes a little more money.

That said, money doesn't necessarily equal class, as illustrated in a truly horrible video posted by a Whole Foods employee that goes by taydawg2022 on TikTok.

DON'T MISS: Amazon Execs Are Quietly Weighing Whole Foods' Future

The video starts with an elderly man standing at the soup section of the Whole Foods salad bar holding one of the large serving spoons used in each container. He picks up the spoon and sips directly out of it.

"I worked at a grocery chain that rhymes with 'Bowl Foods,' and this was a regular issue," she says. "Our demographic was -- you can imagine our demographic -- we were in the area that rhymes with 'Smevrly Hills'. Culturally, our demographic was a variety, but agewise, it was very specific. Mind you, these people are considered the super wealthy and most powerful. And they did this shit all the time at the food bars -- and the hot food bars."

The ex-employee goes on -- and it gets worse.

"The comfortability of these people was insane. The entitlement. They would take food without asking, like whole donuts, two or three cookies, and consider it a sample, grab food -- fruit -- with their bare hands and eat it in the store, and then use the ladle to give themselves a nice sample of cheddar broccoli soup."

The comments from other employees, both past and present, showed that this gross behavior was not limited to that one store.

"A fellow Bowl Foods survivor in GA, and OMG SAME THING. The amount of time old ppl that took bites and just walked away," one wrote.

"I've seen this at Whole Foods too. One lady had her dog in the cart & it was eating from the hot bar," another wrote.
