The country’s most popular singing contest, Australian Idol, has officially come to an end for 2025, giving us a new singing sensation to take on the world. Here’s who won Australian Idol.

From the Top 30 down to the Top Three. It’s that time of the year when the land Down Under selects a new singing superstar alongside judges Kyle Sandilands, Marcia Hynes and Amy Shark.
For those who haven’t kept up, Australian Idol‘s top three for 2025 include Marshall Hamburger, Iilysh Terallick and Gisella Colletti.
And honestly, with all of the stellar performances and the bountiful amount of range we’ve been handed in this year’s competition, it was bound to be a blood bath for the title of Australian Idol.
But ultimately, it was MARSHALL who clutched the Australian Idol crown for 2025!

Prior to the announcement of our big winner, Australia decided our Top Two, which included Iilysh and Marshall. As a result, Gisella was eliminated from the competition.
While she didn’t clutch the Australian Idol crown, Tina Arena invited Gisella to invite her on stage during her Aussie tour!! How bloody iconic!
What is the prize for winning Australian Idol?
Whoever is crowned with the title of Australian Idol 2025 will be handed a whopping $100,000 in prize money and a recording contract with Hive Sound Studios!!!
They also get red carpet access to the ARIAs, TikTok Awards & the Logies!
