The Chicago Bears (3-5) will battle the Miami Dolphins (5-3) on Sunday, where the Bears are looking to build off an impressive offensive performance in Week 8.
Chicago is coming off a 49-29 loss to the Dallas Cowboys (6-2), where the Bears offense was impressive while their defense gave up a season-high in points. It’s not going to get easier after Roquan Smith was traded away. But quarterback Justin Fields’ continued development — and the debut of new Bears receiver Chase Claypool — should provide for some excitement on offense.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins are coming off a 31-27 win over the Detroit Lions (1-6), where Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle combined for 294 yards. Miami has won two straight games since Tua Tagovailoa returned from a concussion.
The Bears are 4.5-point home underdogs against the Dolphins, per Tipico Sportsbook. While it’s not surprising that Chicago is an underdog, it is a bit surprising that the line is only 4.5.
Can Chicago build off their momentum in last Sunday’s loss? How will the Bears’ defense fare after trading Roquan Smith? Does Chicago stand a chance against the Dolphins?
