Who will England play in the Women's Euro 2022 final? Opponent and date

England produced a magnificent performance against Sweden at Bramall Lane on Tuesday night, winning 4-0 in the Euros semi-final to reach the final at Wembley on Sunday, July 31 at 5pm.

Goals from Beth Mead, Lucy Bronze, Alessia Russo and Fran Kirby were just part of a thoroughly convincing performance from Sarina Wiegman's team as they beat a Sweden side ranked No. 2 in the world and many peoples' favourites to win the tournament.

The Lionesses will face either Germany or France in the final at Wembley, with two of Europe's best sides meeting in Milton Keynes on Wednesday night in the second semi-final.

However, they will fear an England side which has now scored 20 goals in five matches so far in the competition while only conceding one goal.

They are also managed by a coach who has now won all eleven of the matches she has managed in the competition after guiding The Netherlands to victory in 2017.

The Dutch head coach is also unbeaten as England manager but the threat of two of the top sides in the weekend will give England a very real challenge on Sunday night in front of what could well be a capacity crowd at Wembley.
