England are three victories away from lifting the World Cup trophy having made it through to the quarter-finals against France.
The Three Lions, who reached the semi-finals in Russia four years ago, are in with a chance of replicating that feat if they can see off the reigning champions on Saturday night.
Gareth Southgate's side have impressed so far in Qatar, topping Group B with victories over Wales and Iran before comfortably beating Senegal 3-0 in the Round of 16.
They are among the favourites to lift the trophy later this month, but now face their toughest test in France and Kylian Mbappe after reaching the last eight.
Having shown their class in their Round of 16 victory over Poland, France look very sharp, and it is no time for complacency, but England fans will have one eye on the semi-final as they prepare to face Les Bleus.
But if they do upset the defending champions, who will they face in the semi-finals? Here's everything you need to know.
Who will England play in the semi-finals of the World Cup?
If England do beat France at the Al Bayt Stadium on Saturday night, they will play Morocco in the semi-finals.
The Moroccans have been the surprise package at this World Cup, earning a point against 2018 finalists Croatia before beating Belgium and Canada to top their group. They shocked the world again in the Round of 16, dumping 2010 winners Spain out of the tournament on penalties before beating Portugal 1-0 in the quarter-finals.
When are the World Cup semi-final games?
If they beat France, England will play Morocco in the second semi-final on Wednesday, December 14, at 7pm at Al-Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar.
What if England make it to the final?
If England make it through to their final, it will be their first since they won the World Cup back home in 1966. They have made it as far as the semi-finals at the 1990 and 2018 World Cups but fallen just short on both occasions.
Morocco in the semi-finals will see them take on the winner of the other semi-final, either Argentina or Croatia, in the biggest game in football.
Argentina made it through to the semi-final with victory over the Netherlands, after bouncing back from a shock opening defeat to Saudi Arabia to win both remaining group stage games against Mexico and Poland before knocking out a spirited Australian side in the Round of 16. They then came through in a dramatic penalty shootout against the Netherlands.
Croatia, meanwhile, reached the final in Russia four years ago and are in with a chance of going one better after seeing off favourites Brazil in the quarter-finals. Led by Luka Modric, they recorded goalless draws against Morocco and Belgium in the group stage but thrashed Canada before scraping past Japan on penalties in the Round of 16 and knocking out Brazil in a quarter-final shootout.
