England have the chance to qualify for the next round of the 2022 World Cup by claiming victory over the United States on Friday evening.
Gareth Southgate's side put six goals past Iran in their opening game in Qatar and have the USA and Wales left to play in Group B. They take on Wales on Tuesday, November 29, with Rob Page's side needing a win and other results to go their way if they are to remain in the competition.
England reached the semi-finals of the World Cup in Russia four years ago, the furthest they had gone in the competition since 1990, having been knocked out in the group stage in Brazil in 2014 and crashing out of the 2010 tournament in the last-16.
Having impressed in their opening group stage matches, they are among the favourites to lift the trophy in Qatar next month, but who is likely to stand in their way? Here's everything you need to know:

Who will England likely play in the next round of the World Cup?
With England set to top Group B, they will play the runners-up of Group A in the round of 16. That opponent is likely to be either Senegal or Ecuador, with Netherlands set to top the group and hosts Qatar almost certain to finish bottom.
When are the World Cup last-16 games?
If they finish top of their group, England will play the runner-up of Group A in the round of 16 match on Sunday, December 4, at 7pm at Al-Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar.
What if England make it to the quarter-finals?
If they make it through to the quarters, England will be in familiar territory, having reached that stage on nine previous occasions, beating Sweden at the last World Cup in Russia to make it through to the semis.
There are no guarantees about who they could face if they make it there this time around, although they will face either the winner of Group D or the runner-up of Group C. That means they are likely to face France, who currently top Group D, but they could also come up against one of Argentina, Mexico, Poland or even Saudi Arabia, who shocked the world with their win over Lionel Messi's side in their opening game.
