When the dust settles on the first round of the 2023 NFL draft, there’s a good chance five quarterbacks will be taken in the first round. This includes Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud, Alabama’s Bryce Young, Florida’s Anthony Richardson, Kentucky’s Will Levis and Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker. The order of them is yet to be determined and will depend greatly on how teams project a particular player in their system for the long term.
Without knowing which team will take which quarterback, we have decided to look to the future for this projection. Instead of asking which quarterback will go first, we want to know when it is all said and done, which quarterback from the 2023 NFL draft will be the best pro.
In terms of sheer talent, Stroud is the best guy in this draft and the one who can work in the most different systems. Close behind him is Richardson. Both guys are super athletic and can make every throw. Levis is similar but his accuracy doesn’t pass the eyeball test for me. Same with Young and his size. Hooker is an interesting case as he’s coming back from injury and could actually be in the best position because in theory, he might end up on the best team.
Cast your vote and tell us which quarterback from this class will end up the best in the pros.
