Who will be Chelsea manager vs Liverpool after Graham Potter sacking

Liverpool take on Chelsea just a couple of days after the sacking of manager Graham Potter.

The Reds go to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening to take on the Londoners who are now without a manager after Potter’s dismissal. His last match in charge was their 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa in the Premier League at the weekend.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are still battling to achieve a top four finish, but were dealt a blow with a 4-1 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday. They are now in eighth place and eight points adrift of fourth-placed Manchester United.

Bruno Saltor will take charge of Chelsea for the clash against Liverpool on Tuesday evening.

In the statement which Chelsea announced Potter’s departure, it was also confirmed that Saltor has been named interim head coach while the club search for a new manager.

As part of the statement, co-controlling owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali said: "On behalf of everyone at the club, we want to thank Graham sincerely for his contribution to Chelsea.

“We have the highest degree of respect for Graham as a coach and as a person. He has always conducted himself with professionalism and integrity and we are all disappointed in this outcome.

"Along with our incredible fans, we will all be getting behind Bruno and the team as we focus on the rest of the season.

“We have 10 Premier League games remaining and a Champions League quarter final ahead. We will put every effort and commitment into every one of those games so that we can end the season on a high."
