Who's in The Apprentice final and when does it air?

BBC 's The Apprentice will soon be drawing to a close with two hopefuls vying for Lord Sugar's personal investment of £250,000.

What's been a jam-packed series full of blunders, terrible marketing designs and nonstop bickering in the board room, the 16th series of the business show will be one to remember. Who could forget such lines as "It looks like we want to kill children" or the creating of the blandest food ever tasted?

The series finale will see the last two entrepreneurs go head to head as they launch their new business in style. Over an intensive three-day challenge they must create a new brand for their company, produce a digital billboard and direct and edit a television advertisement. Then they must pitch to Lord Sugar and a room full of industry experts.

Here's everything you need to know before going into the last episode.

Who's in the final?

Alan Sugar's next business venture will be with a woman. The two going head to head are Harpreet Kaur and Kathryn Burn.

Harpreet Kaur is the proud owner of two dessert parlours and plans to extend the business far beyond eating out and delivery. Her competitor, Kathryn Burn, is the owner of a pyjama company that distributes family sets and specialised designs all year round.

What time does it air?

The final episode will air Thursday 24 March in the usual hour-long format. You can tune in on BBC One or catch up on BBCiPlayer afterwards.

Will there be another series?

Yes, there will be. Hopefuls have reached out to Lord Sugar via Twitter regarding the application process to which he replied "Applications for @bbcapprentice series 17 are now closed." It can be assumed the next cast is ready to go but when it will air is still unknown.
