Manchester United fans have been reacting to reports suggesting Cristiano Ronaldo will accept a 30 per cent pay cut if it enables him to complete a move away from the club.
It comes after the Portuguese star effectively handed in a transfer request, asking to leave the club if an acceptable bid is placed. Ronaldo did not report for pre-season training at the club's Carrington training complex as originally planned and has been absent from their tour of Thailand and Australia due to a family issue.
A number of clubs have been linked with Ronaldo, including Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain. However, most have looked to distance themselves from a potential move.

It has now been reported that Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, is offering his client to clubs and has informed them Ronaldo is willing to take a pay cut, potentially as much as 30 per cent, to leave United this summer. It's also claimed that no club is currently close to signing Ronaldo, with Erik ten Hag hoping he can retain the services of last season's top scorer.
United fans have been expressing their anger at the reports, with many suggesting it's time the club cut ties with their talisman in a bid to avoid any further drama.
