Emmerdale teen Sarah Sugden takes centre stage in looming scenes, as she begins to fear for her health before making a big decision.
Debbie Dingle's daughter grows anxious following the death of teenager Leanna Cavanagh, before collapsing at home..
She decides to track down the family of her heart donor in upcoming scenes, a few years on from the heart transplant that saved her life.
Sarah is left devastated though when she's rejected, with the family of her donor not wanting to speak to her or see her - and she refuses to give up.
But who plays teenager Sarah, and who is the character's father on the show? Here's all you need to know about the teen...
Who plays Sarah in Emmerdale? How old is she?
Sarah Sugden has been played by actress Katie Hill since 2017, and she's been at the centre of some huge storylines since then.
Actress Katie is 18 years old, while her slightly younger character is 16 years of age.
The role was previously played by actress Sophia Amber Moore between 2007 and 2016, and by three other actresses before this.
Who is Sarah's father?
Andy Sugden is Sarah's dad, with him sleeping with Debbie when she was 15 years old.
He had a close relationship with his daughter, before he was forced to go on the run in 2016.
Sarah is named after Andy's late adoptive mother Sarah Sugden, who died in a fire he started not realising she was in the barn back in 2000.
How is Sarah related to Diane and other residents?
Diane was married to Andy's adoptive dad Jack, making her Sarah's grandmother of sorts - while Sarah's aunt is Victoria Sugden.
Sarah is the granddaughter of Cain and Charity Dingle, and the niece of Debbie's brothers Noah, Ryan, Nate, Kyle and Isaac and Andy's brother Robert.
She is the great-granddaughter of Faith Dingle and Zak Dingle too.
What was wrong with Sarah?
In 2011, six-year-old Sarah was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease called Fanconi anaemia, and she needed a bone marrow transplant to save her life.
Debbie and Andy decided they needed to have another baby, as neither of them or their family members were a match for Sarah.
Later in the year, Sarah took a turn for the worse and began developing leukaemia. Jack was born that same month, and he proved to be a match.
In 2017, Sarah was revealed to have throat cancer. After a crowdfunding campaign and help from Debbie's grandmother Faith Dingle, Sarah received treatment in Prague.
A year later she suddenly collapsed and was confirmed to be suffering from heart failure, as a side effect of chemotherapy.
While waiting for a transplant, a hospitalised Sarah suffered from a virus but eventually a transplant was found for her and she underwent surgery.
There were some complications after the heart didn't initially work as well as it should, but the medication soon stabilised her.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
