Emmerdale newcomer Nicky has had viewers baffled by his agenda since he arrived in the village back in December.
The newbie has shown a keen interest in fan favourite Gabby Thomas, but viewers are convinced there is something more than meets the eye with the mysterious character, with some even suggesting he could have a secret identity.
Nicky seemed to appear out of nowhere and as far as we are aware he doesn't have a surname, which has led fans to believe there is more to his arrival than we currently know.

The character revealed that his mother died when he was a teenager and his father struggled to cope, leaving him to care for five younger siblings, which has led to questions over his true identity.
Some fans think he is working with Thomas King and his plan is to target Kim Tate to reclaim Home Farm, whilst other theories include a possible relation to Caleb Miligan or even a link to Joe and Jamie Tate.
In upcoming scenes Nicky will propose to Gabby and it is expected all will become clear as it will finally be revealed who he really is and what he's really up to.
But who plays dodgy newcomer Nicky and how much do we know about his life away from the cameras?
Who plays Emmerdale newcomer Nicky?
Emmerdale's Nicky is played by actor Lewis Lewis Cope, the actor joined the ITV soap in December 2022. Viewers may recognise Lewis from his earlier TV appearances including Doctors and ITV's Vera.
