Who Mohamed Salah, Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane voted for in FIFA Best Award

Liverpool's Mohamed Salah finished third in the voting for the 2021 FIFA Best Men's Player as Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski was been crowned winner, with Lionel Messi finishing second.

It was an excellent season for Salah - scoring 34 goals and adding 10 assists.

The Poland international striker Lewandowski, however, had a simply remarkable year - scoring 69 goals leading Bayern to the Bundesliga title, while breaking Gerd Muller’s long-standing single-season goal record.

Lionel Messi would end the calendar year with 43 goals and 18 assists - while also leading his national side to the Copa America, in which he also won player of the tournament.

Messi had also won the Ballon D'or, which many thought should have gone to Lewandowski.

And it has now been revealed who each player voted for in Monday's FIFA Best award.

The captain and manager of each national side was given a vote of placing who they believed were the top three players of 2021.

Here's who a number of notable candidates and voted for - from first to third.
