Who Man City can play in Champions League quarter-finals and when is the draw?

Manchester City booked their place in the last eight of the Champions League with an emphatic aggregate victory over RB Leipzig.

City won 7-0 on the night and 8-1 on aggregate, with Erling Haaland netting five goals at the Etihad, and Ilkay Gundogan and an imperious Kevin De Bruyne getting in on the act.

Pep Guardiola's side were beaten finalists in 2021 and came agonisingly close to appearing in another final last year, and will be hoping to go all the way this time around.

City are the second English side into the last eight, after Chelsea eliminated Borussia Dortmund last week. Inter Milan and Porto were the other teams in action on Tuesday night, and a goalless draw secured progression for Inter after their 1-0 win in the first leg last month, while Liverpool and Real Madrid, and Napoli and Frankfurt will round off the last-16 schedule with their second legs on Wednesday.

City could be drawn against any of the remaining sides, with no restrictions placed on who can play who. The draw takes place on Friday at 11am GMT and will also map out the remaining teams' possible runs to the final, with the draw for the semi-finals also taking place.
