Tom Stewart has been called up as an unjury replacement to Ireland's Six Nations squad, but what do we know about the uncapped Ulster hooker?
Who is Tom Stewart?
Tom Stewart was born in January 2001 and brought up in Belfast. He attended Belfast Royal Academy and captained Ulster's U-18's side before joining their Academy in June 2019. He was awarded the prestigious Danske Bank Ulster Schools’ Player of the Year in 2019.
He was named in the Ireland U-20's squad for the ill-fated 2020 Six nations U-20's Championship that was eventually cancelled due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Stewart's Professional career so far:
He then signed a development contract with Ulster in January 2021 and was named in theor squad for the 2021-22 season. He made his senior debut in December 2021 in an away deafeat at Ospreys.
2022 was a huge year for the Belfast native as he scored his first Ulster try against Cardiff in March. This was followed up by a selection for the Emerging Ireland squad for the Toyota Challenge in September
He has yet to be capped by Ireland.
