The UK version of Catfish is back for a new season in June and the show will be presented by a new co-host.
The first season of the UK show first aired on April 21. The hosts of the first season were filmmaker Oobah Butler and presenter Julie Adenuga.
However, the second season of Catfish UK will see Julie Adenuga replaced with a new host. The MTV show investigates cases of people who have been dating online but have never met in person.

It is the aim of the show to get the two people to meet in person for the first time, to find out whether or not they are really who they say they are, or whether they are lying (otherwise referred to as a catfish). Here is all you need to know about who the new host of Catfish UK is and when the MTV show starts.
Who is the new host for Catfish UK?
YouTube star and influencer Nella Rose is the new Catfish UK host who will be hosting the investigation show alongside Oobah Butler. On May 11, the influencer shared the exciting news on her Instagram account.
The 24-year-old captioned the post: "ITS OFFICIAL! You are looking at the new host of CATFISH UK. To be a major part of one of my favourite shows just feels so surreal. I feel like a real TV presenter now. Can’t wait for you guys to watch!!!"
Under the post, some of Nella’s fellow influencers such as Love Island’s Amber Rose Gill and the co-host of Catfish US, Kamie Crawford (who hosts alongside the creator of Catfish Nev Schulman) commented with celebratory remarks. Amber said: "Loveeeee so excited for you".
Kamie added: "YAAAAAAAASSSSS!!!!!!! Finally it’s out!!!! I’m soooo excited for you boo!!!"
As well as being known to be seen on social media platforms, Nella has also co-presented shows such as the 2022 BRIT Awards red carpet, alongside comedian Munya Chawawa (BBC’s Freeze The Fear). Rose is also a regular presenter on the footwear brand Footasylum’s YouTube Channel where she engages in funny activities with fellow YouTubers such as Yung Filly (BBC’s Hot Property). She has also co-hosted a miniseries on My5's streaming platform titled 'We Do That'.
When does Catfish UK season 2 air?
Catfish UK season 2 airs on Wednesday, June 8 on MTV.

Are applications to be on Catfish UK season 2 still open?
Although season 2 of Catfish UK has already announced its start date, it appears that the programme is still accepting ongoing applications to be on the show. So if you have been speaking to someone online and struggling to meet them in person, you could be in the chance of getting accepted on the show if you apply online.
