Ncuti Gatwa will become the 14th Doctor, after Jodie Whittaker announced last July she will be leaving the long-running science fiction series. But Whovians still have some time to wait before they will get to see the Sex Education star in command of the Tardis.
Fans have still yet to see Jodie Whittaker’s final bow when her run as the iconic character comes to an end with a 90-minute special set to air in October.

Until then, fans are left to wonder if Gatwa will bring the same charisma to the role as David Tennent, the eccentricities of Tom Baker or the edginess of Christopher Eccleston.
