Sydney Sweeney has been spotted having dinner with former co-star Glen Powell, in the wake of reports that the Hollywood star has called off her wedding to Jonathan Davino.
Sweeney and Powell first worked together on the series Scream Queens, which aired for two seasons in 2015 and 2016, and then again as leads in 2023’s Anyone But You, which sparked rumours about the steamy chemistry they had in the rom-com.
Sweeney and her three-year fiance Davino are said to have had “major” issues, which have led to them deciding to stop making plans for their wedding.
Sweeney, famed for her role in Euphoria, 27, set tongues wagging when she recently deleted a snap of the pair kissing on New Year’s Eve from her Instagram page earlier this week.
Speaking to MailOnline, an insider claimed: “Sydney and Jonathan have been having major issues but are not fully split.
“Things are not great right now but they aren’t throwing in the towel yet. They are working on their relationship but have called off the wedding for now.”
But who is Davino and what exactly has happened between the pair?

Who is Jonathan Davino?
Davino is a 41-year-old businessman from Chicago, who has been linked with a string of companies, from restaurants to start-ups over the years. He also runs a production company, Fifty-Fifty Films, with Sweeney, and he produced her rom-com Anyone But You.
He has produced films including Immaculate, The Caretaker and The Players Table.
When did Sweeney and Davino get together?
Sweeney and Davino started dating in 2018, became engaged in 2022 and had planned to get married this May.
The couple first sparked romance rumours when they were seen attending a few events together seven years ago. including Hulu's 2018 Emmy celebrations and a Kate Spade dinner party.
They have also been spotted at New York Knicks basketball games and on holidays together in exotic locations such as Hawaii.
They announced their engagement in 2022 but have always been known to be a very private couple.
In previous interviews, Sweeney has said: “I don’t date people in the spotlight. I don’t date actors or musicians or anyone in entertainment because I can just be normal Syd that way and it’s easiest … I have a great support system.”
What has happened between the pair now?
Reports have surfaced that their May wedding has been postponed as they navigate a “rough patch” and reconsider their future together.
The pair haven’t been seen together since January, and she has reportedly been staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel since mid-February.
An insider was quoted as saying: “They were supposed to get married this spring. The wedding is not happening, and they aren’t having further discussions about it. Sydney wanted to cancel everything and couldn’t handle the stress.
“A lot of their issues stem from Sydney being extremely busy with work commitments.”
Sweeney has a packed schedule with multiple projects lined up, including her return as Cassie Howard in Euphoria.
She is set to star in a remake of the 1960s Jane Fonda cult classic Barbarella and has already filmed a biopic about 1980s boxing trailblazer Christy Martin.
