Jeremy Vine presenter Storm Huntley recently welcomed a baby boy into the world and her fans were absolutely over the moon for her and her husband Kerr Okan.
And while Storm has been giving her Instagram followers updates on her new family life, new dad Kerr is totally off the grid and appears to not have a personal Instagram account. But who is Kerr? We take a look into the life of Storm Huntley's husband.
Singing career
Kerr, who is originally from Motherwell but now resides in London with his new little family, is actually the frontman of Scots band The LaFontaines. The band is made up of Kerr, Jamie Keenan and Darren McCaughey and, ahead of the Euros last year, the boys released a unofficial national anthem called Scotland, Bonnie Scotland, which was a huge hit and they even got keeper David Marshall involved for the video.
The trio have toured and supported the likes of Example, N-Dubz, Chiddy Bang, Pendulum, The Ting Tings, Twin Atlantic and appeared at festivals such as T in The Park where they set an attendance record for being the only unsigned band to have the T Break tent refuse entry due to large crowds.
In one of their music videos the boys went to the casino with their whole budget for their music video and placed it all down on one spin at roulette and lost so had to make a homemade video instead.
The rockers were in the top 40 in 2019 with their album Junior.
Podcaster
Kerr and his bandmates are not only good chanters but also have their own podcast, which you can listen to here. Each week they discuss different topics and tell different stories. The boys even published a book on the back of their hilarious storytelling.
Married life
Kerr and Storm got engaged back in 2020 and Kerr proposed with a stunning vintage cluster ring which Storm proudly showed off in an Instagram post announcing the news.
Due to the pandemic, the pair got married in a private ceremony in Loch Lomond but then threw a huge party in Kerr's parent's home in Motherwell.
Despite being at home the pair decorated the garden in style with a gorgeous marquee, which came with a huge disco ball and dance floor, alongside some funky garden furniture made from fake grass.
A hand-painted sign also pointed guests in the right direction of things such as 'love', 'dancing', 'food' and 'drinks'.
Father-to-be
Shortly after their fairytale wedding, the couple announced that they had a 'bun in the oven' with a quirky Instagram post.
A few weeks later, they announced that they were expecting a baby boy as they shared a video of Kerr kicking a football which revealed blue smoke.
Storm's pregnancy wasn't plain sailing however, as she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes whilst carrying her son and then later caught covid.
Dad life
Last month, on her Instagram, Kerr's wife revealed that her little boy had arrived sharing an adorable snap of them shortly after he was born, announcing that they had called him Otis Abi Okan.
She wrote: "So this is the little person who will forever hold my heart in his hands…Otis Abi Okan Born 9:17am. 7.7 pounds."
Storm has since shared a series of videos of their family life on Instagram, including an adorable clip of Kerr's parents and sister singing to their new addition as they visited their home in London.
