Scarlette Douglas is set to see her profile soar as she goes into the jungle for I'm A Celebrity, with her also saying she wouldn't mind some romance on the show.
After loads of rumours, the I'm A Celebrity line-up for this year was officially confirmed this week and Scarlette was on it, along with the likes of Mike Tindall, Boy George and Sue Cleaver. Other stars taking part in the new series include Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner, Loose Women host Charlene White, with Matt Hancock set to be a late arrival at some point.
Viewers will get their first look at this year's line-up whe n I'm A Celebrity 2022 launches on ITV at Sunday night at 9pm, although photos have already emerged of some of the campmates taking part in the Walk the Plank challenge before even setting foot in the jungle.
At the time of writing, Scarlette, who is one of the lesser known stars on the show this year, was an outside shot for I'm A Celebrity winner, on odds of 33/1.
Who is Scarlette Douglas on I'm a Celebrity?
Scarlette, real name Charlotte Patricia Louise Douglas, is a 35-year-old TV presenter, most famous for hosting A Place in the Sun.
While its the Channel 4 daytime show that has given Scarlette her longest serving role to date, she has also featured on a number of other programmes like The One Show, Jeremy Vine, Love It or List It and Points of View.
Scarlette actually began her career on stage, appearing in hit productions like Hairspray, Little Shop of Horrors and I Can't Sing.
In her private life, Scarlette used to be in a relationship with The Voice star Lyndrik Xela and hasn't ruled out romance in the jungle, telling The Mirror: "I am looking for love potentially, haha. I just like a good honest and trustworthy man, that's it. But I did hear there might be a man in the jungle with a good set of muscles.
"So, if I head to the jungle I would like to see a muscly guy. I am looking for a Tarzan out there."
