Sam Fender has become one of the biggest names in rock, with a sold-out stadium tour and three successive number one albums.
But the Geordie has been able to reach the pinnacle of the British music scene while keeping a relatively low profile and maintaining a personal life that has been private – until now.
The Sun reported on Wednesday that the 30-year-old has been dating the actress Rosa Collier for two years but has been able to keep the relationship a secret.
On the back of his third album People Watching reaching gold status in the UK and with his European tour now underway, Fender appears to have been outed by the tabloid.

Who is Rosa Collier?
That’s a good question, as Rosa Collier has no IMDB profile and a low-key online presence but describes herself on Instagram as being a London-based actress. Fender follows her on the social media platform – so there is at least some interest there!
According to the Sun, Collier studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), which was where she met Fender, and the pair have been dating since 2022.
An unnamed source stated that they became official in 2023 and have travelled together to the Maldives – and, presumably, to Fender’s home town of North Shields.
This period fell between album cycles with Fender – having released Seventeen Going Under in 2021 and People Watching in February – so fans could perhaps take this blossoming courtship into consideration when scouring the lyrics of the 11 tracks.
Fender has not been tagged with Collier on his own social media and she did not join him at the recent Brit Awards, where he won Best Rock/Alternative Act.
What has she acted in?
Having previously studied at the University College London, Collier graduated from LAMDA in 2023 and her acting CV is entirely made up of stage credits.
While at LAMDA, she starred as Macduff in Macbeth, Lucy in Pains of Youth, and Irina in Three Sisters – among other roles.
Her professional stage experience includes performances in Our Man in Havana and Woyzeck – both with Spies Like Us Theatre.
