Strictly Come Dancing is back with a bang, as fans finally find out who their favourite celebrities have been partnered with for this year’s competition.
We take a closer look at YouTube star Saffron Barker as she hits the dancefloor in a bid to lift the coveted Glitterball trophy.
Who is Saffron Barker?
Saffron Barker is a popular vlogger who has garnered a rather large fanbase due to her YouTube videos.
She has amassed more than two million subscribers on YouTube.
The 19-year-old from Brighton shot to fame with her video series ‘In My Day with Saffron Barker’, and is this year's youngest celebrity to take part in Strictly.

The young star also has her own clothing line at Primark, and focuses her social media videos on the latest fashion trends, make-up hacks and other life tips.
The social media star is also a singer, and was part of girl-group Born2Blush alongside childhood friends Libby Whitehouse, Jazmine Tiley, and Georgia McNamara.
In May 2014, the girls launched their own YouTube channel with a cover of Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk.
They released their first original single, 24seven, in March 2015 but broke up a few months later.

In December 2016, Saffron was one of 25 YouTubers to lend their vocals to ‘Christmas Without You’ - a charity Christmas single benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Saffron is currently single, but recently dated fellow YouTuber Jake Mitchell.
She is believed to be worth more than £1million off the back of her social media success.

Who is Saffron dancing with?
Saffron will be taking to the dancefloor with AJ Pritchard.
The dancer and choreographer from Stoke-on-Trent specialises in Latin style dancing.
He is the youngest of the pro dancers, aged just 24, and has been a Strictly pro since 2016.
His previous partners were gymnast Claudia Fragapane, The Saturdays singer Mollie King and Paralympic athlete Lauren Steadman.
AJ is currently dating Abbie Quinnen, a 23-year-old dancer and performing art student at the The Urdang Academy in Islington, London.

What time does Strictly Come Dancing 2019 air and what channel is it on?
Strictly Come Dancing ’s launch show airs on BBC One at 7.10pm on Saturday, September 7 2019.
The main shows will kick off on Saturday, September 21, with the final expected around 13 weeks later.
The results will be announced during the Sunday shows.
