Who is on BBC Question Time tonight? Nigel Farage, Anna Soubry, Amber Rudd and the faces on the panel

Question Time returns to our screens tonight with politicians and public figures set to go head-to-head on the BBC show.

Fiona Bruce will present the BBC's flagship political debate programme from Northampton and tonight's panel is guaranteed to ensure another fiery show.

Nigel Farage is set to make his 33rd appearance on the show and will be joined by Change UK MP Anna Soubry and Tory work and pensions secretary Amber Rudd.

With Shadow Economic Secretary to the Treasury Jonathan Reynolds and businessman and Labour leave founder John Mills also appearing, Brexit and Theresa May's resignations are likely to dominate proceedings.

Here is everything you need to know about tonight's Question Time panel.

Nigel Farage

The ex-UKIP leader is making his 33rd appearance on Question Time tonight.

Currently leader of the Brexit Party, Mr Farage has been an MEP representing South East England since 1999.

Despite standing for election to the House of Commons seven times (five general elections and two by-elections), Mr Farage has never been elected to Parliament.

The Change UK MP for Broxtowe has also appeared on Question Time before - and has previously gone head-to-head with Mr Farage on the show.

A staunch Remainer, Ms Soubry recently quit the Tory party over the direction the Tories were taking over Brexit and in February joined The Independent Group, now Change UK.

Previously a business minister under David Cameron, she is a vocal proponent of a People's Vote.

Amber Rudd

A vocal Remainer and leading voice in Cabinet for a soft Brexit, the Tory leadership contender is seen by many as a prime candidate in the race to succeed Theresa May.

She quit as Home Secretary in 2018 after admitting she had mislead MPs over immigration targets, but was back in Cabinet just a few months later as Work and Pensions Secretary

Ms Rudd is viewed as a potential leadership contender representing the centrist, pro-EU wing of the Tory party but has just a 346 vote majority in her constituency Hastings and Rye.

Jonathan Reynolds

Jonathan Reynolds voted Remain in 2016 (PA)

The Labour politician is the Shadow Economic Secretary to the Treasury and voted Remain in 2016.

The ex-lawyer is MP for Staybridge and Hyde and has now thrown his weight behind a second referendum having previously not supported the idea, insisting the result of the first referendum should be respected.

He has previously blasted Brexit as a "slow puncture" and also serves as a judge in the British Kebab Awards.

John Mills

The entrepreneur and businessman is best known for founding consumer products company JML more than 30 years ago.

A prominent, and vocal, eurosceptic, he is a staunch Labour supporter and has donated millions to the party.

The millionaire has been campaigning for 40 years to get Britain to leave the EU, and was the chairman of campaign group Labour Leave until he quit in July last year.
