Who is Love Island's Amber Beckford? Rumours say she could be the next to leave villa

Amber Beckford is a 24-year-old Londoner who worked as a nanny before entering as a contestant in ITV2's Love Island in Majorca, Spain, in a quest to find love. But people think Amber could be the next contestant to be kicked out of the villa.

The nanny has been coupled up with Dubliner Dami Hope, 26, since stepping foot in the villa on Day One. However, in Monday night’s episode, it was clear that trouble was brewing for the couple.

But despite much of the drama centring around Amber on yesterday's show (June 20) many fans believe she could be next to leave the villa. The Mirror reports that many viewers think Amber and Ikenna will be the next to leave the show, so that Dami and Indiyahcan get together.

Before entering the villa Amber described herself as “fun, down-to-earth, and kind”. But the nanny was not afraid to say it how it is, adding that she was "maybe a bit of a b****, sometimes".

Despite the responsibility that comes with her job as a nanny in the outside world, Amber shared that she transforms into a “wild child” at the weekend. Amber told Love Island viewers: “During the week I'm basically a mother, and during the weekend I am a wild child.”

She also told the camera how she was “loyal” in a relationship. Amber said: “I am loyal when I’m in a relationship. Treat them like a king, as long as I'm treated like a queen.”

On Monday night’s episode Dami admitted he had feelings for another contestant, waitress Indiyah Polack from London. Dami told Indiyah: "Do you feel like we have a connection? Like we’ve ever had a spark? Would you like to explore it?"

He added: “I’m actually open to exploring you. I feel like with you it’s easy for me.” Indiyah seemed receptive to the idea, replying: “We bounce off each other."

Amber’s self-confessed “fiery” personality means she’s sure to let Dami know exactly how she feels about his recent comments if they come to light.

Amber previously described herself as having “main character vibes” and said that she wanted a guy who could “entertain her”. Amber added: “I don’t want to be carrying the relationship.”

Several things give Amber the “ick” in a relationship. She told viewers: “I hate guys that are flashy and show off. I’ve had once a guy shake his car keys in my face. Can’t stand that.”

Love Island airs tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
