Who is Lillie on Love Island? Casa Amor bombshell from South Shields set to ruffle feathers

The new series of Love Island was spice up no end on Monday night with the return of Casa Amor.

Since it made its debut for series 3 in 2017, the ITV2 show's second villa has caused no end of drama, with unforgettable moments involving the likes of Georgia and Josh, Amber and Michael, Amy and Curtis and, more recently Shaughna and Callum.

Well get practising your best 'congrats hun' right now as Casa Amor has flung open its doors again for 2021, with the boys heading there to be joined by six new Love Island bombshells, while the girls in the main villa welcome six new lads.

One of the six new girls for Casa Amor is South Shields' Lillie Haynes, who could well ruffle some feathers, revealing she has her sights set on Jake, days after he made things 'official' with Liberty.

Bookies are already predicting Jake and Liberty will split as a result of a Casa Amor betrayal and if Lillie has her way that could well happen, although she now has confirmed an interest in Liam.

Lillie is a trainee accountant from South Shields, although in her opening VT aired on Monday night's Love Island, she declared she was from Newcastle.

The blonde had 17.7k followers on Instagram at the start of the week but that is set to sky rocket now.

Her Insta grid is full of night out pictures from the likes of Central Oven & Shaker in Newcastle, The Palm Sunderland and The Sanddancer on home turf.

Revealing why she applied for Love Island, Lillie said: "Usually I’m very loyal and I meet one guy, date him, date him only and then I end up being his girlfriend and it never works out.

"So I wanted to meet loads of different people that I wouldn’t normally come across and date them all essentially and then pick who I like from that bunch rather than sticking with one and rolling with that. So – variation!"

Lillie admits she needs someone "to put her in a place" as she can be quite cheeky and, talking about her job as an accountant, said: "I was always maths and science based at school, I was more natural at that kind of thing.

"I followed my passion route originally, which was dancing. And then I realised I should probably go back to my natural capabilities.

"I liked the sound of finance and accountancy. My colleagues would describe me as a lovable headache. I’m very loud, I’ve always got a new story to tell in the office."
