Lewis Capaldi has the support of his loving girlfriend as he announced his touring hiatus following an emotional performance at Glastonbury Festival.
The Before You Go hitmaker took to the stage at Worthy Farm after a few weeks off work, cancelling a string of gigs at the start of this month in order to be fit enough to perform at the festival.
Unfortunately, the 26-year-old struggled to get through his set because he started to lose his voice.
Lewis, who has Tourette's syndrome, later took to social media to announce he will be cancelling his future tour dates to focus on his mental and physical health.
"The fact that this probably won't come as a surprise doesn't make it any easier to write, but I'm very sorry to let you know I'm going to be taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future," he wrote at the time.
Thankfully, the singer can lean on his actress girlfriend Ellie MacDowall as he starts his touring hiatus.
The two have been in a relationship since the end of last year.
A source speaking to the Daily Mail recently said: "Lewis needs to be around those who love him at the moment and Ellie is supporting and comforting him through this really difficult time.
"He absolutely adores her. She wasn’t at Glastonbury but his parents were, along with his very supportive team that he has around him. As soon as he got home, Ellie made sure she was here for him."
Who is the brunette beauty standing by Lewis's side?
Edinburgh-born Ellie is a model and actress, who is also trained in singing and dancing.
It is believed the performer is around 23 years old and graduated from the MGA Academy of Performing Arts in 2020.
Ellie even has her own YouTube channel, which includes some of her polished performances, including a steamy duet with a male partner to Let's Get Loud by Jennifer Lopez.
According to IMDB, she has been in two short films including The Proposal and Mohini.
She currently boasts 15,000 followers on Instagram and shares pictures from her sunny holidays as well as fun outings.
