Linfield have announced the signing of John 'Jack' Ruddy.
The Scottish goalkeeper has joined the Blues for the 2021/22 Irish Premiership season.
Ruddy was recently with Plymouth Argyle but has also played in Scotland and Spain.

Youth career
Ruddy started out his career with Glasgow Rangers and worked under legendary Ibrox goalkeeper Andy Goram. He stayed with the Gers from ages 7-12 before emigrating to Murcia in Spain. Ruddy joined Real Murcia at 15 and also went on trial with Villarreal.
Previous clubs
Ruddy returned to England from Spain and signed for Bury where he spent two years before signing for Wolves. He also had loan spells with clubs including Oldham. Ayr United (where he won the Scottish League One title) and SS Reyes. More recently he has spent time with Ross County and Leganes B before signing for Plymouth Argyle.
International honours
Ruddy has represented Scotland at Under 19, 20 and 21 level.

Linfield boss David Healy told Linfield's website: "I'm delighted to advise our supporters that John (Jack) Ruddy has agreed to join us for the upcoming season. He's a 23 year old Scottish goalkeeper and he joins us from Plymouth Argyle. He's gained significant experience at various clubs and his signing will be subject to the usual international clearance formalities.
"Jack will add to the competition levels within the squad and he's settled in well, as we've returned to training this week.
"I just want to take this opportunity to welcome Jack to the squad and I know our goalkeeping coach Jonny Williamson is looking forward to working with him over the course of the season ahead."
